Privacy is structural, not a policy: analyses travel in a link or a file the user keeps — the public calculator has no accounts, no lead capture, and no stored analyses. The full engine runs on Arev's compute servers; only the licensee's branding ships in the page.

One tap prints a complete, client-ready PDF — typically 25–35 pages — under the licensee's brand: cover with the headline verdict, the 30-year money year by year, what owning protects against, solar versus the market, the evidence section with every chart, and a full audit of assumptions with the "how solid are these numbers" walkthrough. Every figure in it is the analysis the client just watched compute.

Under the hood

The mathematics, briefly.

Sunalysis is a representative-coincidence model: production, load, tariff windows, and battery state are resolved on a common weighted hourly structure, because modern tariffs pay by the hour and exports earn less than imports cost. Storage is a constrained state system — asymmetric efficiency, a reserve floor, throughput-limited cycling, capacity that fades toward a floor:

Every annual figure is the difference between two fully specified households — with the project and without it — so nothing is counted twice. Headline metrics are computed on the asset basis, and the internal rate of return is the root of the present-value polynomial:

Time-value is never hidden in a discount rate — it is shown as its own competing asset, capital-constant across financing structures, net of fees and capital-gains tax. And every release is regression-locked against a corpus of 300 full scenarios executed through two compute paths — 600 computations matched exactly, at zero tolerance — with analytical spot cases, bill reconciliation, and adversarial review layered above it.
